Inversion Table for Sciatic Pain and Sacroiliac Joint dysfunction

Sciatic pain - what can I say about it. It is really a pain in the butt!! Its caused by herniated disc. hmm how does disc gets herniated I wonder. Let's understand what is a disc. It is a like an egg where it has nucleus, which is surrounded by a strong fiber. Disc is herniated by repetitive stress to the disc. Learn more about back pain and herniated disc here

Now what is Sacroiliac Joint dysfunction? Its a caused by inflammation of Sacroiliac Joint (SI Joint). SI Joint pin is offen mis diagnosed as Sciatic pain. Recovery is a tedious process of Physical Therapy and Swimming..

Now what happens when a person gets both herniated disc and SI joint dysfunction? He either becomes a Sadaam or Hitler. God save the person, but where is god!! I was diagnosed with both of these and its a nightmare going through the ups and downs. I tried Chiropractor, Acupuncture and Physical Therapy. . While Acupuncture relieves pain temporarily by soothing the muscles around it, it doesn't cure the joint or the disc. I would run away from Chiropractor (works bone misalignment) for herniated disc and SI joint dysfunction.  Physical Therapy (PT) works good but it is a long process. Now how about a inversion table (IT)?
Its an experience learning the anatomy of the body and finding what works. For me, a combination of Acupuncture PT and Inversion Table did help. Where did I buy my IT? From amazon, if is Body Champ IT8070 Inversion Therapy Table. Champ is an entry level but works like a charm.
I shared what worked for me and I'm neither a Doc nor a trained professional in this area.

my first attempt solo

This was from a recent kannaDa

Journey in to the singing

It all started with a friend of mine, who invited me to join a practice session for a local community program. I was not very keen, but how can I say no to my own best friend? I went there with my family and soon was part of the team practicing for the program. I and Sowmya ended by choosing a popular score joteyali jote joteyali from a hit movie, Geetha.
